I made it out of a Jumbo Afro Wig and a Bald Head Wig. On the Afro wig, the hair is tied to black netting, so just cut off all the hair in hair in the bald area. Then cut a piece of the bald head plastic to cover that area. Use some beige thread and sew the patch into the appropriate spot (yes, it's not pretty...sewing isn't one of my strong suites :-). Then finish trimming the fair to get the distinctive pointy haired wings on either side. Get the strongest gel you can find. The "hair" isn't really hair, so it only responds somewhat to the gel and you'll need a lot more than you expected. It takes roughly 1-1.5hrs to do all this.
Here's the result:
p.s., Be warned that hair gets everywhere when you cut/blow dry it!

Four long years for somebody to come by and give you a pat on the back. Excellent solution to a hidden yet pervasive problem identifying management. Do staples work to prevent the PHB from removing it? :D
