It's been a while coming but there's a lot of exciting stuff to make Domino a cool web development platform including integration of a JSF engine and custom Domino JSF tags (XPages...aka "Garnet on Steroids") in this version. There are also lots of improvements to composite apps, etc. Lotus got feedback from a bunch of development partners and business partners, of whom I was privileged to be one...thanks, Lotus!
